Sandra Yufang Hu-Torres, MD

Description

Dr. Sandra HuTorres attended the Icahn School of Medicine and completed an ophthalmology fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Born in Taiwan, she became a doctor in to help others and has a strong interest in caring for underserved patients. She chose eye care because she enjoys surgery and working with her hands. Dr. HuTorres has a special interest in treating cataracts, dry eye, and glaucoma, She is an expert in many advanced, sightsaving procedures including tube shunt therapy. She speaks English, Mandarin, and Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children, playing the violin, and spending time with her dog.
