Neurologist Dr. Hande Can studied at the Gazi University School of Medicine and completed her neurology residency and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at UMass Chan Medical School. She studied medicine to help others and enjoys neurology because it is complex, fastchanging, and intellectually stimulating. Dr. Can treats neuromuscular disorders, migraines and other neurological problems using the latest effective treatments. She also believes that diet can support brain health and help certain conditions like epilepsy. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys reading, cooking, and knitting.
