Dr. Peng Zhao is a vascular surgeon who earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. He enjoys using the latest less-invasive techniques to make surgery easier and more effective for his patients. Dr. Zhao works closely with patients to choose the best treatment options. He treats many vascular conditions and performs surgery for aneurysms, blocked arteries and hemodialysis access, and also performs endovenous and revascularization procedures. He enjoys seeing patients improve and, in his free time, likes hiking and traveling with his wife.
