Dr. Arash Mollaeian grew up in Iran in a family of caregivers. He studied medicine at Azad University - Tehran Faculty of Medicine. He started his career as an internist and then completed a fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University to become a rheumatologist. Dr. Mollaeian enjoys solving difficult to diagnose rheumatic illnesses. He often uses tools like ultrasound for diagnosis and procedures. He values new biologic medications that help improve quality of life for patients. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and two kids, hikes, cooks pizza and Persian barbecue, and practices calligraphy.
