John Francis Kelly, MD

Dr. John Kelly attended UMass Chan Medical School and completed a minimally invasive surgery fellowship there. Growing up in Gardner, he was inspired by his grandmother, a nurse, to become a doctor. He chose surgery because he enjoys solving problems quickly and helping patients improve their health. Dr. Kelly performs bariatric procedures like sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass, as well as hernia repairs and gallbladder surgery. He is very experienced in robotic surgery. Dr. Kelly works closely with patients to understand their goals. In his free time, he enjoys freshwater and saltwater fishing and spending time with family and friends.
