Carol A Barrette, MD

Description

Dr. Carol Barrette is a graduate of Rush Medical College. During training, she became interested in foot and ankle care and chose to focus on helping patients with those problems. She later completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Maryland. She looks for nonsurgical ways to treat pain whenever possible. Dr. Barrette started the first Diabetic Foot Clinic at Reliant which helped lower amputation rates. Dr. Barrette has always enjoyed learning new techniques. She often shares her knowledge with other surgeons at the New England Foot and Ankle Club. Outside of work, she spends time with her family and dogs and enjoys hiking, boating, and swimming.
