  • Kimberly Halpert, DVM

    DVM

    Dr. Halpert is a Massachusettes native having grown up in Acton. She attended Tufts University majoring in Biology with a minor in English while competing on the varsity swim team. She has had a long career in veterinary medicine working from receptionist to veterinary technician before attending Veterinary School. Dr. Halpert lived in St. Kitts for two years while studying at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

  • Beth Pellegrini, DVM

    DVM

    Dr. Pellegrini attended Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and graduated magna cum laude with distinction in research in 2001. She published a research article on canine oculo-skeletal dysplasia (a genetic disease in dogs that affects the joints and eyes) in 2001. Dr. Pellegrini graduated from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She joined Abbott Animal Hospital in 2005 and became medical director in 2010. Dr. Pellegrini's special interests include surgery and dentistry. Dr. Pellegrini shares her home with her chocolate lab named Emma and 3 cats.

  • Annie Wang, DVM

    Dr. Wang attended Tufts University for her undergraduate study, majoring in Biology, and graduated summa cum laude. She spent 1 year abroad studying biology at Oxford University, England, and worked at Cotswold Wildlife Park during that time. She then attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine where she was a coordinator for the Southside Community Center Healthy Pet Clinic, which provided fee-reduced veterinary care for people with financial need. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Shore Animal Hospital, South Weymouth, MA. She has a strong interest in ophthalmology and has published an article on orbital abscess in the journal, Veterinary Ophthalmology. She enjoys playing the flute and piano, and speaks Mandarin.

  • Deirdre Fornari, DVM

    DVM

    Dr. Fornari is a central MA native having grown up in Shrewsbury. She attended Assumption College for her undergraduate degree. She then worked several years in research prior to receiving her DVM at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, Dr. Fornari continued her studies through a year-long internship in small animal medicine and surgery at NEAMC in West Bridgewater. From there, Dr. Fornari worked several years in emergency medicine in a referral hospital outside of Boston. Dr. Fornari has a special interest in trauma management and immune-mediated disease as well as helping clients build a stronger bond with their pets. Outside of work, Dr. Fornari enjoys spending time with her husband and son, their Golden Retriever and 3 cats. Dr. Fornari also enjoys knitting, gardening and clicker training her golden.

  • Diana Ciminello

    DVM

    Dr. Ciminello is a native Massachusetts resident who attended the University of New Hampshire for undergraduate studies before moving to Texas to attend veterinary school. She graduated with honors from Texas A&M University, but is pleased to be back in New England to beat the heat. Dr. Ciminello has a special place in her heart for the less traditional pets. While she loves dogs and cats, she also enjoys seeing small mammals, as well as some reptiles and birds. In her spare time she hikes the trails with her Catahoula Leopard dog Symphony and hones her billiards skills against her husband.
